In these pictures, I wanted to show you what i like to do and what my favorite things are. I like, being outside, christmas, and especially ketchup. Most of these pictures describe me, which I was trying to do in my self portraits. I didnt focus as much on my personality than i did showing people what i like to do.

Mom

I liked the way the reflection of the plants and trees were seen on the window. I thought the photo needed to be in color to show the plants, and also in black and white to show my mom's mood.

                  After a long day of work, Mom wasnt too happy about getting her photo taken.

Caught my mom in the act of yelling at my dog. She isn't very fond of Bailee (my dog). This picture shows their relationship

Sister: Liz

Rainy day outside. The first picture is of my sister watching the rain, and the second picture is her standing in the rain, waiting for a drop to go in her mouth.

What my sister does all day when she is home from college. She sits down and watches her phone

Beauty

I think beauty in photography is a photograph that tells a deep, emotional story by just looking at the picture.Beauty in photography is something that is different than a normal picture. Characteristics for beauty in photography can be something with a good lighting that defines the object or person, and shows us something we wouldn't have seen by just looking at it with our eyes.  This can also be done with certain coloring that fits the photograph and helps tell the story. Examples of something ugly being beautiful photograph is an old person, or a person that is different from others, mostly by looks. The picture can still be beautiful because it reveals an insight on who the person is, and how beautiful they are, despite the way they  look.

1. Who was Alfred Stieglitz and why is he noteworthy in the history of photography?
Alfred Stieglitz was an American photographer and modern art promoter. He is known for making photography an accepted art form.
2. Choose a photograph he made, upload it to your blog, and explain why you chose it as your favorite by him.

I chose this photograph because it shows even though the world seems good and wealthy, there is always somebody suffering underneath the beautiful side of the world. 

3. With what famous painter was he in a relationship? Who was she?  Upload a painting by her that you like.
Alfred Stieglitz was in a relationship with a woman names Georgia O'Keeffe. She was an american artist.
 Extra: How did they influence each other in their art making?

Georgia influenced Alfred's photography by letting him take pictures of her. In the pictures, you could see her mood and what she felt like at that time.

Macro Photography

Most of my photos were taken either in my house or my yard. I had trouble finding sun 

in my backyard to enhance the quality of my pictures. I eventually went on a walk to find sun but none of them really turned out the way I wanted to. What i would do to improve my pictures is take my pictures earlier in the morning so i could have sun, but also have a sunrise in the background.
